In 2021 Mudgee Rugby Club will support two senior grades in the New Holland Agricultural Cup competition with the Central West region. An Colts (Under 18’s) competition will play in 2021.

Since 2016, The Mudgee Wombats continues to support women’s rugby. A team will be playing in the Westfund North Cup in 2021. The women made the grand final in their first year in the competition in 2016 and reached the finals in every year since with Grand Final appearance in 2020.

Mudgee Rugby Club enters teams in the Central West Junior Rugby competitions in the under 12, under 14 and under 16 age groups. If numbers permit we may enter more than one team in an age group. The emphasis in the Juniors is on the development of skills in a competitive environment whilst fostering a strong team mentality.

Mudgee Rugby Club supports three age groups – Under 6’s, Under 8’s and Under 10’s.
Under 6’s – tag only. (players over 4, 5 or turning 6 this year)
Under 8’s – modified tackle. (players turning 7 or 8 this year)
Under 10’s – tackle (players turning 9 or 10 this year)
